Had a relative send me an interesting article/slideshow that she saw on CNBC.com listing the states with the highest unemployment rates.

Beyond the state unemployment rates there is the issue of county and local rates. For example, Michigan is at 10.6% statewide, but the Upper Peninsular part of the state is experiencing a mind boggling 24.2% reported rate.
